Getting ready to say the vows. I didn't get a picture of them facing each other.

The moment I did the camera man stepped in the middle of the eisle. I was bummed.

I will call this taking off the unity rope. Instead of doing a unity candle in Mexico they use this pretty decorated rope. There are huge loops on each end of the rope. Each loop is placed over their head and then it rests on their shoulders. The rope is worn for a short while during the ceremony and then it is take off.

When they got to the end of the eisle they embraced. Tears of joy were streaming down their faces. It was a beautiful thing to witness.

Jon and Priscilla are some friends from the base. They used to be on staff with us last year, but now the Lord has moved them on. They still live here in Monterrey, and plan to be here for a few years. After that we will see where the Lord takes them.

I am waiting for some group pictures from others. Once I get them I will post them as well.
