Santa Isabella here we come!!

Well we had a break this past week...and Marcie and I thought what are we going to do with all of this free time... Marcie had come up with several ideas and this is the one we chose: Santa Isabella.

Why Santa Isabella? Marcie has connections with a Missionary couple there. So her mom contacted them for us and they said that they would love to have us stay with them. The next step was to hop on a bus to Ciudad Victoria which is about 3 hours from Monterrey. From there we took a bus to Llera which is about an hour from Victoria. Once we arrived in the small town we found a Taxi. We told the taxi driver that we wanted to go to Santa Isabella to the house of the Americans. He knew right where that was. 10 minutes late we were there and Gary and Peggy were there to welcome us with open arms.

Unfortunately this bus didn't smell so pleasant

3 pesos to enter. Many places in Mexico have a bathroom entrance fee. This is to help on the up keep... but you never know what you are going to get...one that is kept up or one that is not.
