Returning to the Market

" Good afternoon, Madera Ranchos Market. This is Elisha speaking, how can I help you?"... I had to think about these words before they came out of my mouth. My natural response would have been to say "Bueno, JUCUM" ( Hello, YWAM)...but that response would of only brought confusion to the person on the other end. The next few phone calls were the same, I had to stop and think about what I had to say. After awhile the right response came out without a problem.

Everything else started to become second nature as well, it was like I had never left in a way. The same old customer would come into shop, and not much had changed. The only thing that was different was the people that I was now working with. Some of the same old crew was still there, but there were quite a few new faces as well. It was kind of strange going back to a place where I once knew all my co-workers and was in a different position and then to come back and not know everyone and not have the same responsibilities.

So now I am in the middle of week two and I have four more weeks at the Market to go. It is nice to be back there for awhile. I look forward to seeing the old customers for awhile, working with my old co-workers and getting to know the new ones.
