Sunday, June 8th:

Our Trek up Saddleback Mountain

It was 2:30 am and my alarm went off...it was time to get up and get ready to climb the mountain. By 3 am we were are all down stairs and ready to begin our climb. Our group consisted of Isai ( YWAM staff), Jorge and Elida ( friends of ours), Guapo ( my boyfriend) and I.

We climbed into the van and drove the beginning of the trail. It was a long hike, and beautiful hike. We were all dead tired by the time we got back down. Here is are some pictures from our journey up! Enjoy!!!

5:04 am- We made it to the Platform! We took some time to take

some shots and eat a qhick and light breakfast.

Now we get to climb down. Thankfully the climb down was quicker.

Me and Guapo at the top! Unfortunately it was cloudy and there was nothing to take photos of. I was happy thought I finally got to climb saddleback and hopefully I will be able to go again on a clearer day.
