Today was the Language School graduation for the DTS students. It was a bittersweet moment as I watched my English student Laura present her final in front of the class. It was beautiful to watch her share her testimony in a language other than her own. I was so proud of her and happy to see accomplish all that she worked hard for .....and yet sad because my happy hours of teaching were over.

Laura was a wonderful student... so eager to learn and so fun to be with. It was awesome to watch her grow and to take off in English. I remember our first class together...she barely spoke for the fear of either making a mistake or she just didn't know. It took some time to pull it out of her and now she is talking a mile a minute. Sometimes it is hard to get her to stop. :)

Next week Laura will be leaving with the team that is doing their outreach in Mexico. I am going to miss her.
