Friday night we took the team out to TACOS FEDE for tacos gringas and nortenas accompanied with a good 'ol mexican coke. It was a great way to end the week.
Okay, so the "MENU" is a joke. When we take teams to FEDE'S , we tell them that the sign for the feed store is the Menu. You should see their reactions. The girls were grossed out and the guys wanted to know if they could try the horse.
Trompo is made from pork meat. The take slabs of meat and put them on a metal rod. They stack one on top of the other until it is full and then cook it with a flame. Then when someone orders a taco they shave off the the meat that they need. It is the best. If you ever come down to Mexico, eating tacos de trompo is a must.
